Ferrari unveiled the 12Cilindri and 12Cilindri Spider in Miami Beach on 3 May 2024, both powered by an 830-cv naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12.

Automotive significance

At a time of rapid hybridisation, the 12Cilindri preserved Ferrari’s front-mid-engine naturally aspirated V12 grand-touring architecture in a new two-seat generation. Its design intentionally referenced earlier Ferrari GTs, especially the visual logic of the 365 GTB4, while remaining a contemporary model rather than a retro recreation. Project Apex avoids predictions about whether it will be the 'last' naturally aspirated Ferrari V12, because Ferrari had not confirmed such an endpoint.
