Automotive significance

The e-building represented an industrial investment rather than a declaration that Ferrari was abandoning combustion engines. Ferrari described the facility as an instrument for production flexibility across ICE, hybrid and electric models, with in-house assembly of strategic electric components including high-voltage batteries, axles and electric motors. The distinction matters because Ferrari’s strategy remained multi-energy rather than all-electric.
