Automotive significance

The F80 continued the lineage Ferrari associates with the GTO, F40, F50, Enzo and LaFerrari while changing the flagship powertrain formula again. Its three-litre twin-turbo V6 was combined with electric motors and extensive racing-derived control technology. Ferrari described it as its most powerful road car at launch. Project Apex records that as a time-specific manufacturer claim rather than a permanent record that can never be surpassed.
