Automotive significance

Icona created a new product category between Ferrari’s regular range and its traditional limited-series flagships. Rather than reproducing historic cars, the programme used specific eras and archetypes as conceptual starting points for new designs aimed at top clients and collectors. The Monza SP1 and SP2 drew on the open sports-racing Ferraris of the 1950s while using contemporary 812 Superfast-based V12 engineering.
