Automotive significance

The SF90 Stradale represented a different stage of electrification from LaFerrari. Its battery could be externally charged, it offered electric-only driving, and two front electric motors created an electrified all-wheel-drive system. It was also a regular series-production model rather than a numbered limited-series flagship. Project Apex therefore distinguishes clearly between LaFerrari as Ferrari’s first production HY-KERS hybrid and the SF90 as its first series-production PHEV.
