Automotive significance

The win came only two months after the team’s difficult Mille Miglia debut. On the 7.4-kilometre climb, Nuvolari recorded an average speed of 95.151 km/h, demonstrating how quickly the Scuderia was becoming an effective competition operation within the wider Alfa Romeo racing ecosystem.
