Automotive significance

The 2004 season represented the culmination of Ferrari’s Schumacher-era championship sequence. The F2004 won 15 of 18 Grands Prix between Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello, while Ferrari secured its sixth consecutive Constructors’ Championship and Schumacher his fifth consecutive Drivers’ Championship for the team. His seven career titles included two earlier championships with Benetton, so Project Apex distinguishes his career total from his Ferrari title count.
